The Trinity
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal.
The Father
God the Father is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, and created the universe in love to respond to Him. He created man in His own image for fellowship, and called man back to Himself through Christ after the voluntary transgression and fall of man.
The Son
Jesus Christ is eternally God. He was together with the Father and the Holy Spirit from the beginning, and through Him all things were made. For man’s redemption, He left heaven and became incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary. He is forever one Christ with two natures, God and man in one Person. Christ’s vicarious death on the cross paid the penalty for the sins of the whole world. But these benefits are only available to those who receive Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. The healing of man completely; body, soul and spirit is provided for in this atonement, as well as all of God’s provision for His saints, but these must be appropriated.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God and the giver of life, who was active throughout the Old Testament, and given to the Church in fullness at Pentecost. He empowers the saints for the work of service and witness, convicts man of his old nature, and conforms us the image if Christ. The baptism of the Holy Spirit, subsequent to conversion, releases the fullness of the Spirit and is evident by the fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit. These gifts are for today and operate in harmony with the Scriptures, decently and in order.
Holy Scriptures
The Bible containing the Old and New Testaments is alone the only infallible, inspired Word of God, and that its authority in ultimate, final and eternal. It cannot be added to, subtracted from or suppressed in any regard. The Bible is the source of all doctrine, instruction, correction and reproof. It contains all needed for guidance in living a life of Godliness and practical Christian conduct.
Salvation
Salvation is a free gift of God, based on the merits of the Christ’s death, and appropriated by faith. Salvation is affected by personal repentance of sin, belief in the Lord Jesus (justification) and personal acceptance of Him as Lord and Savior (regeneration). The new life in Christ includes the privileges of adoption and inheritance in the Kingdom of God. Salvation is an act of free will and in response to God’s personal love for mankind. Salvation should produce an active lifestyle of loving obedience and service to Jesus.
The Church
The Church is comprised not of location, denomination, or nationally, but every person who is born of the Spirit. The Church has a divine assignment to fulfill the great commission and an appointment to live-out the great commandment.
The Lord’s Supper
The Lord’s Supper or Communion is to commemorate the death and the sacrifice of our Lord and is done in remembrance of Him until He returns. It is more than symbolism, it is an outward sign for others and for us; an indication of our participation in Him.
Water Baptism
Water Baptism is an outward sign of what has been accomplished by the Lord within an individual. It is a baptism of repentance, death to sin and resurrection to a new life in Christ and is affected through the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. It is also a necessary act of obedience that provides a foundation for future spiritual growth.
